Tami T.S. | The Root Cause Protocol helped me with my irregular and heavy periods
December 7, 2017
I had terrible heavy and irregular periods my entire life. At 52, I am still having periods and since starting The Rood Cause Protocol four months ago, I now have regular, normal periods with only one slightly cranky day. It is quite a miracle and I am grateful! I am getting my life back one day at a time.Updated March 13, 2018
Went to the regular doctor this week. (Not my Naturopathic Doctor) This was a new doctor so she wanted to run new blood tests of me, as my last ones were done a year ago and showed me as diabetic, hypothyroid, high blood pressure, PCOS, high cholesterol. Five months I have been mostly on the full protocol. Some days, I just could not get it all in. But, I always took the adrenal cocktails, mag baths and Mag water. Well, ALL THE TESTS CAME BACK NORMAL! I was diagnosed with all these “diseases” and feeling hopeless. After educating myself on The Root Cause Protocol, the concept of these “diseases” only being the symptom of the true problem, it made so much sense to me. I found The Root Cause Protocol when I typed in my symptoms and Magnesium deficiency (which led to much more info on the protocol) popped up as an answer. No doctor or specialist I had been to in the last 35 years had ever even mentioned this to me. I was trying to take hypothyroid meds, but they made me so sick. I had nothing to lose, so I started the protocol. I also added a KeTo diet. (Not perfect, but a high average. I can sneak in a sugary item even now and then, but I feel it. Gluten is NOT my friend and throws me into his histamine storm…which I learned here!!) I am not taking thyroid meds, I take a very low dose of Spironolactone, and a reduced dose of Metformin. I will ease off of these drugs as time progresses. I am not used to having a medical victory! So many years of bad news, no answers and trying drugs that made me miserable and feel worse than what we were trying to heal. I will move forward with a lot of common sense, a positive, non-critical outlook, and renewed hope in my body’s ability to heal itself. ❤️
