I would like to share my success so far on the RCP. I have been sick for a very long time, it started at age 12 with my joints swelling and finger joints getting stuck in a clenched position.
I was put in the Cleveland Clinic and had test after a test run to see why. Although a cause was never found, the doctors decided I had Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, but I had no antibodies to this autoimmune disease. Â I took gold shots, Methotrexate, Plaquenil, and various other drugs to keep the inflammation down.
When I got to around age 45, my thyroid stopped working, and I was told I had another autoimmune disease, Hashimoto’s.
I found the RCP on Facebook, and joined the group, and started reading. I decided to try this route and started on low dose Naltrexone + the RPC.
After approximately 4 months, I weaned off of my methotrexate to see if I would swell, as that is usually what would happen when I stopped taking it. To my surprise, I didn’t have any joint swelling at all. I was elated! Then, I went to see my Endocrinologist, and he said I had to drop my dosage of Levothyroxine. I had also dropped 20 pounds and he wanted to know what I was doing. I briefly explained the RCP and asked if he knew Morley Robbins, he did not.
The next time I went back to him, he said it looks like your thyroid is working, and maybe you didn’t have Hashimoto’s after all, I’m not sure why it’s working now… I again told him about magnesium, and the RCP – he just looked at me like I was off in the head.  I no longer go to him, my thyroid is working now!
My hair stopped falling out, I’m not exhausted 24/7, feeling cold all the time, etc..  I’m still in shock at how much better I feel, I have not felt this healthy since I was 11 years old, and I am 57!  I will be forever grateful that I happened upon this group on Facebook, and for Morley and Kristan for all of their hard work to put it all together and make it understandable for someone like me!  And a huge thank you to my RCP consultant who has answered my millions of questions – Diane Beach as well! Â
I have just started my husband on the RCP, he has a lot of health issues as well, and I’m so excited to see his progress.  I hope he will be writing his success story soon too!
