Iron Toxicity Post #13: STOP using iron-enriched, iron supplements and ignoring your ceruloplasmin status!

(Formerly #15)

My guess we are going to see more and more of this iron’s the bad guy research in the coming decade.

Be the first on your block to figure this out and stop using iron-enriched anything; stop taking iron supplements, and start taking notice of your ceruloplasmin (Cp) status. Cp is the protein that ensures optimal iron metabolism.

Xiao W, et al. J Endocrinol. (2015). “Iron overload increases osteoclastogenesis and aggravates the effects of ovariectomy on bone mass.”

And just so you know, magnesium is key to activating alkaline phosphatase, which is essential for osteoblasts to work in the bone. Copper is key for activating lysyl oxidase, which is essential for collagen and elastin. This is the true backbone of bone!

Calcium is like the dumb front lineman in this process.

Please, re-read this abstract and take corrective action.

A votre sante!
