Jon C | The Root Cause Protocol helped with my Overwhelming Full Body Pain

Jon C | The Root Cause Protocol helped with my Overwhelming Full Body Pain

How long have you been following the Protocol?
Almost 2 years

What health issues/symptoms led you to the protocol?
I was experiencing overwhelming full-body pain, (debilitating and progressive), despite trying every clinical option I could find, (which may have been more than most, as I am a physician by profession). I was to learn that it was the iron load of multiple blood transfusions (which were life-saving in the context of traumatic aortic transection from a car accident) that was driving this runaway inflammatory crisis, (cytokine storm)

What changes have you seen in your health from starting/following the protocol?

I have enjoyed decreased pain, increased flexibility, less depression, and improved vitality. (One of my daughters commented that I am looking younger over time, even without my paying her to say so!)

What is the most significant change you have experienced from the protocol?

The reversal in my deteriorating condition (chronic pain and stiffness) has not only been very encouraging to me, but the wisdom that is being shared with us continues to be a real benefit to my patients. (I have a lot more to offer my patients, now that some of the areas in which we were mis-educated in med school are getting corrected).

What would you say to someone who is considering RCP but unsure about starting the RCP?

I believe that the RCP lays a foundation for good clinical medicine by addressing the fundamental forces that support our physiology; can’t recommend it enough.

Any additional notes/comments?
I have shared with Morley that I feel I “became a physician” some years ago in the middle of the night in the ER, when I learned to take responsibility for my decisions. But “I became a clinician” when the RCP began to teach some of the pieces that were left out of our training. When those “puzzle pieces” were added, the image of our physiology suddenly become more clear, and knowing “why” certain issues develop made me much more effective as a doc, (and made medicine a lot more fun!)
