Julia Boser spent years suffering from many symptoms including chronic fatigue, brain fog, and hormonal issues, before she was diagnosed with hypothyroidism at 42 years of age, followed by a melanoma diagnosis at 45. It was at this time that she got serious about her healing.

She came across the Magnesium Advocacy Group on Facebook and embarked on The Root Cause Protocol. Julia noticed that her energy and brain function improved, her body pain and other symptoms went away, and eventually she was able to cease her hormone treatments and thyroid medication.

She went back to study to become a Root Cause Protocol Consultant and now uses the RCP to help her clients heal. She is now also working on making RCP blood tests more easily available in Canada!

RCP journey and successes 🙏
Hello everyone. I’ve been following the RCP for about 15 months and wanted to share my experience here.

My main reason for trying the protocol was an attempt to reduce my high blood pressure – I’ve had it for about 15 years and been on medication for it for 12 years. I have previously tried lots of other things to try to improve it including diet, yoga, running, meditation and alternative therapies. I was also suffering from a skin condition – Granuloma annulare – it has no known cause and no effective treatment.

I have had the wonderful support of my RCP consultant – Catherine Julia Mort – and am indebted to her for my progress. Within 4 months of our first meeting my skin condition cleared completely (leaving no scars) and today (after my annual bp check) my GP has halved my bp medication. I couldn’t be happier!

My first consult came almost 2 months after doing the stops and, slowly, starting the starts. At that point I was taking mineral drops, 2 adrenal cocktails, some vit c and some mag.
The zoom meeting with Catherine was so enlightening and gave me loads to think about.

My main takeaways were :

  • how my stress was depleting my minerals (potassium, sodium and mag were all very low) and the importance of EFT.
  • how my previous vitamin supplementation was so detrimental
  • how my 4 years of following a whole food plant based/no oils diet (basically a vegan diet with no oils/processed foods) was particularly low in copper and retinol and needed to change radically.
  • Lots of practical advice about how and when to further implement the starts and also go about giving blood.

Changing my diet was the most challenging thing – I was initially worried about eating butter/good fats and increasing my salt intake (albeit good salts) as conventionally they are deemed to increase cholesterol and bp. I took it slowly though and continued to monitor my bp.

A few months in and my bp had decreased a little and my cholesterol was fine
I have now implemented the majority of the RCP and had some really enlightening and healing EFT sessions. I have completed 3 blood donations and have booked my 4th. On my recent second consult my blood profile showed lots of improvement, reduced inflammation and increased bioavailable copper. My hair test showed my minerals were low again but I had dealt with a particularly stressful life event in the 3 months prior to the test and had not prioritised EFT during that time. I shall be much more mindful going forward.

This past week I have taken twice daily bp readings for my annual check up with my GP. My average bp last year (just after my 1st consult) was 135/85 This year it’s 119/77. He is reducing my Ramipril from 5mg to 2.5mg. 🙏
I should also add that over the last 12 months I have stayed well with no other health issues at – Not a cold or cough!

I am so grateful to Morley, Kristan, Catherine, and the wider RCP community for this amazing protocol and support. I will definitely keep going with the protocol/consults and look forward to continuing my healing journey.”
