You are not anemic, at least not anemic from “iron deficiency!” I am gradually assembling the research that is making it patently obvious that this ubiquitous declaration that many members are terrorized with their iron status is an absolute case of mistaken identity....
Iron Toxicity Post #55: Ferritin is NOTHING, Hemosiderin is EVERYTHING!
Ferritin in the serum is a sign of tissue pathophysiology. Without the ceruloplasmin ferroxidase enzyme, iron doesn’t load properly into ferritin. So it gets damaged and takes on the properties of hemosiderin where iron is stored and doesn’t come out.
Iron Toxicity Post #54: A Tale of Two Cities
‘A Tale of Two Cities.’ You’re not “anemic”. It is bioavailable copper (aka ceruloplasmin) that is key to making iron functional! Bioavailable copper’s ferroxidase role in preventing neurodegeneration.
Iron Toxicity Post #53: You were not born with a ‘Red Light’ deficiency!
You were not born with ‘Red Light’ deficiency. What makes thyroid healthy is bioavailable copper!
Iron Toxicity Post #52
Your iron isn’t low, it’s non-functional: Make it functional by raising ceruloplasmin.
Iron Toxicity Post #51: The Deceit of ‘Anemia’
You are not anemic! You have ‘anemia’ of chronic inflammation, which means you are iron toxic, and it’s being stored in your tissues.
Iron Toxicity Post #50: The Iron-ic deceit of Hormone D
Vitamin D is a sign of low magnesium and high-unbound iron.
Iron Toxicity Post #49: IP-6 offers a compelling solution to iron overload
IP-6 offers a compelling solution to iron overload.
Iron Toxicity Post #48: Dealing with cancer
Iron causes cancer.
Iron Toxicity Post #47: The truth about the cause of mitochondrial dysfunction (as least as I see it)
How the key (copper) and the fuel (cardiolipin) prevents mitochondrial dysfunction in the lipids getting rusty. The cause of mitochondrial dysfunction.
